Gingivectomy is a surgical procedure of excision of gingiva. Only the part of gingiva representing the soft pocket wall is removed. Gingivectomy provides corrections and restoration of gingival contour.
After intervention dentist shall provide necessary instructions, nutrition regime and medical treatment (antibiotics and analgetics).
