\nOsnovu joj \u010dini skelet od neplemenite legure (kobalt-hrom-molibden) i otuda joj i poti\u010de naziv. Metalni skelet u gornjoj vilici ima oblik trake dok u donjoj vilici ima oblik luka.
\nPreostali deo proteze koji nadokna\u0111uje izgubljene zube je izra\u0111en od akrilata.<\/p>\n

Upotreba vizil proteze je dosta \u010desta i koristi se kada preostali zubi nisu raspore\u0111eni tako da se na njima mo\u017ee izraditi most ili kada ne postoji odgovarajuca debljina kosti da bi se ugradili implanti.
\nOna se posebnim vezivnim elementima (ate\u010dmenima) vezuje za preostale zube , a sakriveni su unutar proteze i ne vide se prilikom govora. Da bi se ate\u010dmeni mogli postaviti u protezu, neophodno je na preostalim zubima napraviti odgovaraju\u0107e metalokerami\u010dke krunice.<\/p>\n
